Howdy and welcome to the new Teddy Bears Forum. I created this board to keep the original forum alive and so we would still have a place to discuss our love of bears.
I was known as wubbiebear on the original forum, but I use Wolfiebear now to express my love for both bears and wolves. I'm a 26-year-old female who loves teddies and other plushies, and I'm the only blind bear artist I've ever heard of, although unfortunately I haven't been able to make a bear in a while *cry*. I also play several instruments, love to play on the computer, enjoy reading, and have a bunch of other weird hobbies. I figure we could use this thread for introductions, lol.

Hey there wolfiebear!
I am 25 years old. A female. I am a photographer, I also play guitar and used to write music and poetry, I collect stuffed animals and love bears real and stuffed, and love acting and watching films and I love all kinds of genre's except for horror, and I am trying to learn French as a second language.

Oh, I'm so jealous of the fact that you can take pics, lol. Just wait till you see my horrible pics I take of my pack. To paraphrase an old PSA I like, they said my camera would just point and shoot to take a picture. They lied.

I am the old one of the group. I made child proof teddy bears for 30 years along with rabbits, cows, pigs and assorted other animals. The last 4 years, I have been rescuing dolls from thrift stores, cleaning them up and making new clothes of them. Then I resell. About now I have over 200 dolls. My latest craze is the Chatty Cathy family from the 1960's.
I hope to get rid of a lot of my baby dolls and just have the chattys and a few of the 18 inch modern doll. I have right now a bunch of orders for doll clothes for other peoples dolls.

Oh Eva, you're here *squuz*. I love Chatty Cathy. I have one and she talks, but her voicebox isn't that great. I still love her though. I hope to see your dollies here <3. Unfortunately there's a size restriction on photos, which is annoying for me. I just tried uploading a pic of my wolf and fox, but it didn't like that.

Hi all. I am a diesel mechanic by day and a plushie collector by night. Hoarder may be more appropriate depending on your point of view. I have been collecting for 20 plus years, and as the quality of plush being sold in stores goes down, I find myself collecting the older teddy bears and other plushies from the late 70's through the 80's.

I'm an old bear lover also. It used to be from the 80s and older, but now I've discovered that the best quality for softness and squuzzability, (I think I just made a new word), are plushies from the late 80s and early 90s. Oh and welcome *teddy squuz*.
